Covid-19 Prevention Policies and Procedures
The health and wellness of our clients has always been paramount for Centre Ave. Massage & Spa. Effective massage therapy requires close contact between the client and therapist. With that in mind, we are taking extraordinary measures to promote the safety of both our clients and staff. Current Covid-19 Vaccines Mandatory for all Spa Staff
Centre Ave. Massage & Spa reccomends that all staff maintain current Covid-19 vaccination at medically recommended intervals. At Centre Ave. Massage & Spa we understand that for massage to work our clients need to feel safe in our hands. That is why we are so proud of our safety record throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. As the pandemic has continually changed, we have continued to evolve our safety protocols based on the best available science. At the present, the best available science points to vaccination as a crucial step for both immediate safety of our staff and clients and long-term management of this continually evolving virus.
Masking
Masks are mandatory for all staff and clients while in all common areas and massage rooms. Clients are permitted to remove masks while face-down on massage tables to facilitate proper breathing and relaxation. Masks are still required while face-up on the massage table. We ask all clients to arrive masked, however high-quality masks will be provided free of charge for any client who arrives without.
Air filters, Cleaning, and Sanitization
At Centre Ave. Massage & Spa, we take our responcibility to provide safe, clean facilities for our clients and staff very seriously. The process starts with proper air filtration. Each massage room is equipped with two (2) HIgh Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters. All massage and rest rooms are electrostaticaly disinfected daily.
Covid-19 Risk Assessment Questionaire
Clients will be required to answer the following questions upon arrival at Centre Ave. Massage & Spa:
1. In the last 24 hours have you had any cold or flu like symptoms?2. In the last 48 hours have you had any contact with anyone who is sick or has been diagnosedwith COVID? Answering "Yes" to question #1 or #2 will result in the immedaite cancellation of scheduled service. Centre Ave. Massage & Spa reserves the right ro refuse service at any time based on assessment of risk. 3. In the last 10 days have you travelled?
Answering "Yes" to question #3 will trigger enhanced safety protocols during massage service. Clients who answer "Yes" may be required to wear a n or kn95 mask throughout the service including while face down on the massage table. Centre Ave. Massage & Spa reserves the right to refuse service based on risk assessment.
